Partner Account Deposits

The Partner Account Transfer feature supports deposits from a partner account to a consumer account.

  • Partners are restricted to loading money into accounts associated with that partner.
  • Relevant transactions are available via transaction history endpoints.
  • As of now, withdrawal is not supported

Partner Account Deposit Flows

Making an account deposit is a two-step process. First the deposit is “initiated”, which serves to validate and help ensure that the deposit can happen. Assuming the “initiate” passes and is established, the transfer of funds can then be “executed”. A convenience-method for looking up a deposit and its state is also available.

The illustration below shows the standard flow for depositing funds into a consumer account from a partner account.

This next flow shows an error scenario where an attempt is made to deposit funds into a card holder’s account that has a block, perhaps set by support upon discovery of fraud.

Partner Account Withdrawals

The "Partner Withdrawals" feature enables you to initiate account withdrawals through the Netspend API. If you offer premium services, such as Bill Payment, to cardholders, you can use the partner withdrawals feature to debit their accounts in real-time towards the financial transactions on behalf of cardholders.
